VYES offers a variety of low-barrier, accessible programs and services for youth and families. Because each program is designed to meet different needs, referral and intake requirements vary. Some programs require a referral or intake process, while others can be accessed directly.

Our Alliance Club drop-in centre and Youth Food Pantry are open to all youth and do not require a referral. We welcome all members of our diverse youth community and are committed to ensuring support is accessible, inclusive, and easy to access.

Referral Process

Referrals to VYES can be made by anyone, including youth themselves, parents or caregivers, schools, community organizations, health professionals, outreach workers, and other service providers. We welcome self-referrals and recognize that reaching out for support can happen in many different ways.

Our goal is to make accessing support as simple and low-barrier as possible. Referrals can be made in person, over the phone, or through the referral forms provided below.
If you are unsure which program may be the best fit, our staff team is happy to help guide you to the appropriate support, please call us at 250-383-3514.
