We are looking for two individuals to join our organization for the summer to provide engaging recreation activities for youth in our Alliance Club Drop-In program!

The Summer Youth Activity Workers, alongside the Alliance Club Youth Support Counsellors, will be responsible for providing the necessary services and support to youth accessing the drop-in program. Youth workers will be responsible for organizing and implementing recreational, social, and educational activities designed to meet the needs of youth accessing the program. Additionally, workers will aim to meet the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of youth by providing support and counselling, immediate screening, crisis response, and referrals.

These positions are for 8 weeks, starting July 3rd and candidates must:

(a) be between 21 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;

(b)  be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*;

(c) be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations. *International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.
