YES would like to thank the United Way Southern Vancouver Island for choosing YES as one of the recipients of their 2022-2023 grants. This grant will allow us to pilot a Youth Wellness Project aimed at providing social, cultural, and recreational activities for youth (13-19) that foster a sense of belonging and community connectedness. The project will offer short-term support, community-based leisure activities, and peer-based workshops that will help youth develop coping skills, and stress management strategies and improve their resilience. We are excited to share more information about this pilot project in the upcoming weeks! Thank you again to the United Way for their continued support.
